Abstract Submission

ABSTRACTS
All abstracts should be submitted electronically via the abstractModule submission system. The abstracts not submitted via the abstract system but via e-mail and regular post shall not be accepted. The abstracts submitted online shall be published without any correction; therefore the authors should be careful about spelling mistakes.

Guidelines for Submission

  1. All papers shall be admitted only online through congress website (https://eafpsistanbul2024.com/).
  2. The abstracts shall be submitted only via the online abstract system.
  3. The deadline for abstract submission is August 19, 2024.
  4. Papers which do not comply with the paper writing rules during submission will not be evaluated.
  5. Names of the authors should not include their academic titles.
  6. Only one preferred presentation method of the papers should be selected among lecture, poster or free paper.
  7. The names should be written with only the first letter in capital and the rest in small letters and without abbreviation.
  8. Name and address of the institution, in which the author is employed, should be stated.
  9. The abstract must be written single-spaced and centered, with no paragraph breaks.
  10. Ambiguous expressions such as “The results will be presented at the meeting” should not be used.
  11. It should not be used more than 2 tables or figures in the abstract.
  12. Only the first letter of the abstract title should be in capital letters. (Abbreviations excluded.)
  13. In case abbreviation is used in the abstract, the abbreviation should be explained in parenthesis.
  14. The purpose of the paper and the methods applied should be explained in brief, the findings should be summarized together with sufficient statistical details and the conclusion should be stated within the framework of the findings presented.
  15. Abstract should be organized in a way to include the titles of objective, materials and methods, results and conclusions.
  16. The abstract length should not exceed 400 words excluding the abstract title, name and surname of the author.
  17. The “Submission” process must be completed after reviewing all the information entered into the system. Otherwise, the paper that you send will appear as incomplete in the system.
  18. After finalizing your submission, we kindly ask you not to forget the reference number assigned to your paper by the system and your password used during your log in to the system.
  19. The deadline for submission of abstracts is August 19, 2024. Abstracts submitted after this date will not be accepted.

  • If you will use the online abstract module for the first time, select the “New User” link and register to the system.
  • The explanations at the page after the registration procedure will guide you. Please read the messages and explanations carefully.
  • The abstracts submitted via internet shall be published without any corrections; therefore the authors should be careful about spelling mistakes.
  • Please keep the confirmation mail sent to your e-mail address following the abstract submission.
  • You can track the evaluation process of your abstract over the system by using your e-mail and password.

Abstract Evaluation:
All abstracts and proceedings will be blind reviewed by the Scientific Committee. In order to have an accepted abstract being programmed by the scientific committee, congress registration for the presenting author is compulsory. An acceptance letter concerning the abstract evaluation result will be e-mailed to the author. Submitted papers will be evaluated out of 100 points by the Paper Evaluation Board, keeping the names and institutions of the researchers confidential, and will be admitted as lecture, poster or free paper presentations according to the results of this evaluation. All admitted papers will be included in the Abstract Book, and admitted but unpresented papers will not be included in the Abstract Book.
